Jesse Langdon
Conservation Information Manager

Background: Jesse Langdon is the Conservation Information Manager for the Washington Chapter of The Nature Conservancy, where he has worked for the past four years. He received his undergraduate degree in Geography at the University of Texas in Austin, and has worked with Geographic Information Systems (GIS) in a variety of settings, including municipal and state government. Jesse’s passion for biodiversity conservation eventually led him to The Nature Conservancy.

Current Projects: In his current role as Conservation Information Manager, Jesse is serving as the main technical lead on our ecoregional assessment projects. This includes managing the copious amounts of information produced by these assessments, and serving as the main contact point for our partners who are interested in utilizing the assessments in their conservation work. Jesse is also involved in developing statewide geospatial databases and standards for improved data management for Washington and the Pacific Northwest region.

Fun Fact: Jesse once sneaked out of a U.S. military base to get a tattoo while he was stationed in Hungary.
